Job Description

1. Cost Accounting
Consolidate, review, and reconcile accounting data arising directly at the factory, including raw material costs, labor costs, manufacturing overheads, and fixed assets.
Record accounting transactions related to factory operations accurately, completely, and in a timely manner on a daily basis.
Monitor and calculate product costs, and analyze cost fluctuations for each specific production period.
Prepare production cost reports periodically or upon ad-hoc request from the Board of Management.
Monitor and supervise the implementation of raw material and supply consumption norms; analyze variances between standard norms and actual usage.
Closely monitor production costs to ensure reasonableness and optimize costs for the company.
Monitor depreciation of fixed assets and allocate tools and equipment currently used at the factory.
Lead or participate in periodic inventory counts and reconcile actual assets with accounting records.
 
2. Payment & Accounts Payable Accounting
Check the legality and validity of payment documents, and carefully reconcile them with approved proposals or approvals before proceeding with payment procedures.
Directly carry out payment procedures for daily expenses and recurring company expenses.
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable with suppliers periodically or in accordance with contract terms to ensure data accuracy.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Candidate Requirements

Educational background: Graduated from university with a major in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or equivalent fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting position; candidates with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing plants or food/FMCG manufacturing are preferred.
Experience in production cost calculation and cost control is preferred.
Experience working with GMP or quality management standards in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Good understanding of Vietnamese accounting regulations and current tax laws.
Good analytical and data consolidation skills; careful, honest, highly responsible, able to work independently and collaborate well in a team.
Good English communication skills are an advantage.
